LTCOA Visit EVM’s Factory in Ireland

London Tourist Coach Operators’ Association (LTCOA) annual tour 2014, involved a four-day visit to Ireland. Sponsored by EVM,

The tour started with the highlights of Dublin, and then moved to Kilbeggan, County Westmeath, for a distillery visit a tour of the EVM facility in Kilbegganfactory. Here the members of the group saw the different stages of EVM’s work converting basic Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans and luxury mini coaches. A spent a full day was also spent touring on the West Coast.

Participants included Sue and Richard from Reynolds Diplomat Coaches; Mark and Hannah from Anderson Travel; David and Phillips Jennifer from London Mini Coaches; Paul of Crest Chauffeur Hire; Tim and Chris from Westbus; Neil from City Circle; Judy and Wayne from Westway Coaches; Jack and Paula of Royale European; and Ivan, Jacqueline, Emmanual and Marion from Edward Thomas & Sons.

Danny McGee Sales Director at EVM said: “Our thanks go to Extreme Ireland and their driver Barry for the most professional, fun and informative coach services.”

Sue Reynolds, said: “We were fascinated to see the vast range of styles and modifications that EVM can offer. It was refreshing to learn the ways in which EVM listens to and works with customers to provide vehicle modifications perfectly tailored to their customers’ needs. LTCOA once again offers it thanks to EVM for sponsoring this informative and most enjoyable tour.”

She added: “The autumn tour is just one of the benefits available to LTCOA Members. In November LTCOA ran its first training day, entitled effective team management and leadership skills. Free to members, the JAUPT registered training course was intended for the managerial staff of member companies.”

Next Monday (December 8) will see the final members meeting of the year with a  talk on insurance fraud, otherwise known as ‘crash for cash.’
