History is being brought alive in Manchester with reprints of classic posters and a visit from a children’s character, reports Nick Larkin

The Museum of Transport, Greater Manchester has posted a selection of posters available for sale – and met a Mr Tumble!

Twenty publicity posters from later 1960s North Western to early 1990s Metrolink have been made available on art paper, with various sizes available costing from £14 for a 30cm x 20cm copy. “We have a huge selection of posters in our collection and we are delighted to bring them to the public. As well as the initial 20 we’re hoping to have another 20 available shortly,” the museum announced.
