Two of Britain’s biggest transport museums are getting together to stage a major bus show next year. The British Motor Museum (BMM) and Transport Museum Wythall are planning the event for 2 June. It will take place at the BMM’s Gaydon, Warwickshire, site, previously home to the Buses Festival, which moved to the East of England, Showground, Peterborough last year.

Full details have yet to be drawn up, but the event will include a tribute to 50 years of the Leyland National in service. BMM spokesman Tom Caren said: “We are hoping this rally will become a major event in he bus calendar.” Further details will be announced shortly.
