The Scottish company says it is proud to be Scotland’s first private coach operator to achieve the DVSA recognition
Moray-based operator Maynes Coaches says it is very proud to be Scotland’s first privately owned coach operator to have achieved DVSA Earned Recognition accreditation. The company said that the achievement reinforces its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence in line with the company’s principles, adding that it has also recently continued its membership of the Guild of British Coach Operators, having undertaken an audit proving its longstanding commitment to upholding the Guild’s high standards. Maynes Coaches has been a member of the Guild for over 20 years.
“The Earned Recognition accreditation strictly accepts only the elite transport operators who work to exemplary standards and as such we are extremely proud of Team Mayne for rising to these top standards,” the company said. “The award continues the Mayne family’s goal of operational excellence, the company’s proactive approach to enhancing road safety, protecting the well-being of its drivers and the public, and reducing its impact on the environment. It also further enhances the company’s reputation as a reliable and responsible coach travel partner.
“This accomplishment proves the consistent and rigid driver safety standards we uphold as a company. It is also testament to the hard work and organisation of our driving engineering and operating staff, day in and day out. The level of quality that the DVSA requires for the Earned Recognition attests to the fact that Maynes operates a fleet of the highest calibre and set a standard that others strive to follow.”
