Relatively young operator MP Travel recently purchased a new Plaxton coach for its Megabus contracts. Jonathan Welch paid a visit to find out how the company has grown in its first few years
In late 2019, CBW featured MP Travel’s latest acquisition, a Volvo B11R with Plaxton Panther 3 bodywork, for scheduled Megabus services. Only founded in December 2016, and with just one double-deck bus, the company has come a long way in the three years since, and is now operating rail replacement across the north west as well as scheduled and additional journeys on the Megabus network. CBW sat down for a mug of tea and a chat with founder and owner Gaz McAllister-Partridge, whose initials give the firm its name.
