megabus shines at the British Grand Prix

The official coach supplier for Silverstone is megabus.com. Each year it is their mission to provide coach services from all over the country to the British Grand Prix and other events such as MotoGP. Richard Sharman went along on race day to find out how the megabus.com team manages this vast movement of people

If you have an interest in Formula 1 you will know that round 10, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, is one of the most hotly-anticipated of the 21 rounds.

Silverstone is a fast circuit, and the British fans are truly passionate about attending and showing their support to their favourite team or driver. There are plenty of drivers and teams to choose from, but Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport’s Lewis Hamilton MBE seemed to be a firm favourite on race day in terms of flags, merchandise worn and the cheers as he passed the grandstands.

In 2018, approximately 140,500 people attended race day. Rather than drive themselves, many fans choose to use Silverstone’s official coach supplier, megabus.com, to get to and from the circuit.
