A special celebration marking 40 years since the first production MCW Metrobuses entered service in the West Midlands involved some 20 of the people who built the legendary buses.
They included Andrew Gardner, ex-Chief Designer (Bodies) at MCW, who came up with the idea for the commemoration event, which took place at the Transport Museum, Wythall, where he is a volunteer.
