London-based Metroline has appointed a new Engineering Director, Adrian Jones.
Having previously worked as the operators’ Chief Engineer, Adrian has 30 years experience, including multiple high-level appointments at Metroline.
In his new role, he will sit at the helm of Matroline’s 250 strong engineering team and fleet of over 1,700 buses.
This appointment accompanies other recent Metroline appointments including that of Stephen Harris as Managing Director, and Ian Foster as Group Engineering Director, as well as Sean O’Shea as Chief Executive Officer.
Speaking about his new role, Adrian said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as Engineering Director at Metroline. Working with our team of dedicated engineers across the company has been a very rewarding experience, and I am excited to be overseeing things at a particularly exciting time for engineering, with the addition of the new electric buses into our fleet.
Having worked at Metroline for over four years, I am looking forward to helping the company to continue to innovate and maintain Metroline’s strong reputation for engineering excellence.”
