Miford Haven-based Evans takes delivery of new Yutong TC9

Evans Coaches is a family business located in the heart of the beautiful Pembrokeshire National Park, in Milford Haven.

It has been operating since 1986, when the company was established by Edward Evans as EJ Evans and run it from the family home of Edward and Doreen Evans. Philip Evans joined the company in 1988 and formed a partnership with his father which resulted in EJ Evans & Son. In 2006 the company was changed to a Limited Company and is now well known as Evans.

The Yutong TC9, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach, is fitted with 37 half-leather seats, power points, USB charging points. A full BOSCH entertainment system with front 19′ motorised monitor. P.A. System with driver and courier microphones. An integral reverse camera and a camera showing the rear door complete with drivers in-dash colour screen are also fitted.

The vehicle is powered by a Cummins ISB 6.7 320hp Euro VI engine, driven through a ZF 6AP1200B AT Automatic EcoLife gearbox. Evans carries out a variety of private hire work throughout Wales.
