Mistral Bus & Coach has confirmed orders valued in excess of £4m for 34 vehicles supplied by Alexander Dennis.
The two businesses have recently signed a three-year agreement to work together in the retail coach and bus market to offer customers an inclusive service covering both vehicles purchase and finance/rental options.
24 of the vehicles are current model Enviro 200, Euro 5, service buses that are due to be delivered over the next six months to a number of operators including TLC Travel in Bradford, ACE Travel in Liverpool, West Midlands Special Needs Transport in Birmingham and Hanson’s in Stourbridge. All of these operators already operate the Enviro product and these repeat orders demonstrate the continued popularity of the Enviro range with independent operators across the country.
Mistral has also ordered 10 new Cheetah XL mini-coaches in advance of the formal launch next year. The new Cheetah XL will be available for rent from Mistral from April onwards.
Operators have also benefited from the close relationship between Mistral’s Asset Finance business and ADL’s retail bus and coach team, with a number of deals this year having been funded via this partnership.
