In 1963, allocated to Helmsdale were former London Transport ‘utility’ Guy Arabs converted in 1953 by SMT in Edinburgh to 30-foot single-deckers. KSC 919 (K87) was photographed after emerging from the garage to operate the service to Dornoch. JOHN SINCLAIR
