Warrington-based MP Travel commenced operation of service X1 between Palace Fields, Runcorn and Liverpool ONE, under contract to Arriva Merseyside on Monday 19 October.
The timetable will remain unchanged and Arriva/Merseytravel tickets and passes will still be accepted, although vehicles operating the X1 will not show on the Arriva app.
