The London Transport Museum is aiming to help owners and operators of heritage vehicles by making classic seat moquette available in small amounts. “We have introduced several different moquette types having had many enquiries over the years, and will be gauging demand,” said the museum’s Retail Marketing Manager David Simpson. “We’ll probably end up introducing further additions to the range and deleting others.”
So far 18 moquettes are on offer by the square metre, priced from £30 to £60 ranging from the pattern seen on a B-type to that from the New Routemaster.
