Employees that work within the operating area of My Bus can download the free MyMiltonKeynes application for iOS and Android phones and tablets.

Employees can then register to use the My Bus service and travel free; vehicle tracking has also been included in the app. The free service operates from 0800 until 1800hrs Monday to Friday on a circular route from the Network Rail offices then via Silbury and Avebury Boulevards.

Ten stops are included, and these include the Civic Offices, The Hub and shopping centres intu Milton Keynes and centre:mk.

“This tangible benefit for CMK employees will allow them to leave their cars parked up, jump on the free shuttle buses to head to a meeting elsewhere in CMK or just to pop up to the restaurant or shopping areas in their lunch break. It gives full transport flexibility to employees within the city centre.”

The service is being operated by MyMiltonKeynes as part of the Business Improvement District Milton Keynes (BID) which intends to improve Central Milton Keynes across a number of key areas. Their drivers have been employed to operate the My Bus service, which uses two Mercedes-Benz Sprinters leased from the Dawson Group.
