Burland Coaches announced on Monday 8 August in a statement on its social media channels that: “Unfortunately Burland Coaches has had to cease operating its fleet of coaches due to circumstances beyond our control. All existing bookings made will still go ahead as planned. Thank you for your custom and support.”

Robert Vaughan (Motor Repairs) Limited, which trades as Burland Coaches and Minibuses, has an operator’s licence for 12 vehicles operating from its base at Bank Lane, Burland, Nantwich. The Nantwich News reported that a letter from Sunblaze Tours in Northwich told Burland Coaches customers: “Sunblaze Tours in conjunction with Northwich Travel has taken over the excursions and tours programme, so all passengers booked with Burland will get their trips. The office in Nantwich market will be retained.”

Burland will no longer operate coaches, although it is believed the company will retain its fleet of minibuses for hire. BURLAND COACHES
