Sports fans and holidaymakers now have a convenient and budget-friendly travel option to Paris, in time for the Olympics, says National Express thanks to a new partnership with European coach operator BlaBlaCar Bus. With three services a day from London’s Victoria Coach Station to the Continent, the operator says travellers can expect a safe and comfortable experience on board, with leather reclining seats, plenty of legroom, USB power sockets and a luggage allowance of up to 20kg, with fares from £34 one way.
Commercial Director at National Express John Boughton said: “We’re pleased to be partnering with BlaBlaCar Bus to reinstate our presence in Europe following the pandemic, connecting our UK-wide network with Paris and other key destinations on the BlaBlaCar network, including Brussels and Amsterdam.
“We want to help people make those all-important, money-saving, greener choices when it comes to travelling. This partnership not only offers a convenient and seamless booking experience for our customers, they can also look forward to a comfortable, affordable and more reliable journey compared to the cost of flying or enduring long queues at the airport.”
Vice President of BlaBlaCar Bus Aurélien Gandois added: “Our mission at BlaBlaCar has always been to make travel more accessible, convenient, and environmentally friendly. Partnering with National Express allows us to offer more options for travellers to reach Paris sustainably and comfortably. We are excited to bring together our networks to provide an enhanced travel experience for passengers.”
