MAHLE Aftermarket has launched a range of air-conditioning (A/C) compressors under the MAHLE Original brand.
Causes of A/C compressor failure are due to incorrect installation, insufficient oil or refrigerants, leaks, damage, contamination and moisture in the air-conditioning circuit.
As a result, the new MAHLE Original range has been launched against several key criteria, such as superior cooling performance, durability and reliability, comfort for the driver and support and service to parts distributors and technicians.
At the heart of the vehicle A/C system, the compressor is typically driven by a v-ribbed belt. The compressor circulates the refrigerant in the A/C system and – when operating properly – ensures that the optimal temperature is maintained in the cabin.[…]
