Beulas S.A. is pleased to announce the development of the Jewel double deck model in right-hand drive format for the UK market.
The Beulas family commented: “Working closely with our UK dealer BASE Ltd we have developed specifications at 13.3m, 13.9m and 14.6m based on the popular MAN R37 chassis featuring the 480bhp engine.
With seating capacity up to 89 seats and other designs featuring up to 13 cubic metres of luggage, we believe we are able to achieve all the needs of customers in this product.”
BASE plans to exhibit a Jewel coach at this year’s Euro Bus Expo in November, but will be marketing the product throughout 2012. Nick Dodgson, general sales manager at BASE, said: “We are delighted with the Jewel concept, which now completes our product offering from Beulas. BASE can now offer two axle executive or standard vehicles from 9.0m to 12.72m, with Spica and Cygnus and our three axle offering of Aura, Glory and the new Jewel from 13.0m to 14.6m.”
