LUXEMBOURG
Luxembourg operator Demy Schandeler, which provides coach tours, private hire and local bus services throughout the country, has taken delivery of a new Setra S 531 DT with panoramic glass roof, equipped with 79 seats and two club tables, which will be used on trips throughout Europe. The double-deck coach is powered by a Daimler OM 471 six-cylinder engine providing 510hp, paired with a 250–8 Powershift automated eight-speed manual transmission.
The metallic royal blue coach also marked a special moment for Daimler, being the 100,000th vehicle to pass through the paintwork centre at its Neu-Ulm production site.
