Spokesman Jamie Vendy, a driver with operator of many Scanias, North Yorkshire-based Connexions, said: “The idea is to cater for operators and preservationists. The original idea was to cater for the L94 models, which were really the last of the classic Scanias which don’t have the complex computerisation of later models, but such has been the interest that we are extending the scope to all models.”

The club has an online presence on Facebook, and can be found by searching ‘Scania PSV Owners Club.’
