The organisers of the annual Commercial Vehicle Show, held at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre, have announced that at next year’s event, to be held on 21, 22 and 23 April, the show will also incorporate a new Bus & Coach Expo. Organisers say that the inaugural event will be a catalyst for innovation, progress, and cross-industry collaboration, and will unite the entire passenger transport ecosystem under the banner ’The Pulse of Passenger Transport.’

Alongside vehicles and technology, the event promises a mix of product debuts and hands-on workshops, underpinned by expert-led content that addresses the biggest challenges and most urgent opportunities in modern mobility and supported by specialist feature zones to give centre stage to important issues.

Free to attend, the event will also feature seminar theatres hosting thought leaders from across fleet operations, government, sustainability, and technology. Topics for coach operators and bus fleet owners will include fleet decarbonisation, public sector funding, data-driven delivery models, workforce development, and more.

Co-located with the Commercial Vehicle Show, organisers say it will give visitors seamless access to a second major industry event in one trip, opening up unparalleled opportunities to discover cross-sector solutions, meet new suppliers, and broaden fleet strategies. Ambassador for Bus & Coach Expo Mark Griffin said: “Bus & Coach Expo is exactly what the industry needs right now: a fresh, future-focused platform that brings together every corner of the sector. From operators and OEMs to policymakers and tech innovators, this event will drive the conversations, showcase the solutions, and help shape a smarter, greener future for passenger transport.”

Event Director Nick Davison added: “We’re thrilled to launch Bus & Coach Expo in 2026. This is not just another industry event, it’s a strategic new platform built for the challenges and opportunities ahead. With its co-location alongside the Commercial Vehicle Show, we’re delivering two powerhouse exhibitions in one, offering attendees more value, more connection, and more reasons to attend.”

Following some confusion, CBW has been asked to clarify that Bus & Coach Expo in April 2026 is an entirely separate event and not affiliated to Euro Bus Expo, which will take place as scheduled from 3 to 5 November, having attracted some 191 exhibitors and 75 vehicle displays at last year’s event.
