New NatEx partnership helps children get outdoors

The South Downs National park has teamed up with National Express Transport Solutions (NETS) to enable more schoolchildren to enjoy trips to the National Park. The National Park has teamed up with NETS to offer schools based in southern England discounted travel to over 100 attractions and venues in the Park, including all manner of nature and heritage-based activities.

The partnership was announced as the National Park’s Outdoor Learning Grant was opened for applications from schools across the south east, allowing teachers to apply for a grant of between £300 and £500 to cover travel costs. The partnership with National Express Transport Solutions provides affordable, school transport at a reduced rate of £295 during school hours.

National Express Transport Solutions comprises a network of operators including Lucketts Travel, Mortons Travel and Worthing Coaches which will be the local operators providing transport as part of the partnership.
