A much-admired newcomer to preservation, some old buses returning, and a tribute to an industry legend were all aspects of the recent Delaine Buses Heritage Running Day.

Preserved vehicles including those from the Bourne, Lincolnshire-based operator’s own collection operated on service to Market Deeping and Rippingale every 20 minutes. There was also a chance to look around the Delaine Heritage Trust’s superb museum.
