Crusader Holidays, owned by the Motts Travel Group, has announced it has taken delivery of two new Setra coaches to add to its existing fleet of 10.
The two new 14 plate tri-axle Setra 416GT-HD coaches have been bought to cater for the growing demand for holidays to distant destinations such as Croatia and St Tropez, which will require a certain level of comfort and entertainment for passengers.
Roger Mott, Director of Motts Travel and Crusader Holidays added: “Since the acquisition of Crusader Holidays in 2011, a plan of development and growth has been in place to continue to position the brand as a top name within the coach holiday industry. With a lot of hard work, the skills and expertise from the staff and management team, together with the feedback of our valued customers, we can continue to offer great value and quality holidays across the UK and Europe.
“I am extremely happy to be adding two new vehicles to our fleet. These two coaches together with the two purchased last year means we have spent over one million pounds alone in the last 12 months.
“We want to give our customers the best level of comfort possible so they will continue to travel with us and tell their friends that coach holidays really are a viable alternative to the cramped low cost airline route. With over 120 holidays over 17 different countries, we wanted to ensure our fleet can cope with these demands.”
The seats inside the Setras are a custom design chosen by Val Mott, MD of Crusader Holidays. One coach boasts a deep dark and engaging pink with a branch like design on the fabric of the seats. The other coach is a mixture of light brown material with a cream coloured leather headrest area. Both coaches have a stylish dark wooden flooring effect:
The seats are ergonomically designed with a wide, spacious LED lit stairwell. The vehicles include air-conditioning and two 19 inch electric fold away monitors.
