The North West Vehicle Restoration Trust, now in its tenth year, has new sponsor.

PMP Video Archive, said to be the world’s largest library of bus and lorry films, has agreed to support the Kirby, Merseyside-based NWVRT.

The trust, officially recognised by Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council as an organisation engaging with local people and bringing an insight into local vehicle history, and which has restored several vehicles at its Charleywood Road site also organises an annual bus running day. Attending this event inspired PMP’s Dave Spencer to offer his support for the trust.

Said Dave: “PMP has sponsored some long-established events over the past decades. We felt that the NWVRT had the right attitude and approach to both the modern bus industry and the enthusiast sector.”

The relaxed friendly atmosphere reminded Dave of early bus events he had enjoyed and he thought the NWVRT might appreciate some funding, while PMP will be able to make use of its social media presence and film making skills to promote the Trust and its great work.
