National Express West Midlands (NXWM) has temporarily reinstated four Mercedes-Benz 0405Ns at West Bromwich Garage, having given the type an official send off on October 3. Fleet numbers 1585, 1607, 1695 and 1699 have been allocated to services 45 and 49. In a further development, the three examples (1571, 1591 and 1594) that had remained in service at Coventry Garage were withdrawn at the weekend. However, they have transferred to Pensnett Garage, which has put two into service and loaned the third one to West Bromwich, which has allocated to route 80.
Meanwhile, three Optare Spectras, including 4004 and 4018 have been sold to Engsignbus.
