A Volvo Olympian, which was delivered new in Cleveland Transit livery despite the operator having been taken over by Stagecoach, has been restored to its original specification.

M223SVN, a 1995 Volvo Olympian with Northern Counties Palatine H43/31F bodywork, was among a batch of five buses (M223-227SVN) arriving in Transit’s green, yellow and white post-deregulation livery. The buses also wore Transit logos with the strapline: ‘Employee owned – working for you,’ this being replaced by ‘Part of the Stagecoach Group.’
