Milton Keynes-based Omega Travel Limited has recently taken delivery of five new Scania Touring tri-axle coaches. Four of these are Euro 6 models while the fifth is fitted with Euro 5 technology. This brings the total of new vehicles purchased from Scania (Great Britain) Limited to 12 in recent years.

Omega Travel Limited is a rapidly expanding UK concern which specialises in arranging and managing Mandarin-speaking tours throughout the UK and continental Europe. To assure its passengers of high levels of safety and comfort, the 410hp SCR-only Scania K 410 EB 6×2*4 Euro 6 chassis are equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning and Scania’s fully automated Opticruise gear selection system.

The vehicles’ 13.7m overall length bodies are equipped with 57 Kiel passenger seats with three-point seat belts, seatback tables and footrests, Bosch audio/video equipment and two monitors, parallel lifting main locker doors, powered entrances, washroom, servery/fridge and climate control.

As with previous purchases by Omega Travel, these new vehicles are covered by Scania’s standard two-year repair and maintenance programme, with support managed by the company’s local Scania dealer, TruckEast in Milton Keynes.
