CBW: You joined Optare as CEO in July this year after spending 30 years at JCB. What made you consider moving to the bus industry?
Richard Butler (RB): There were a number of things, such as the technology advancements that I was seeing in the bus industry, particularly with Optare’s Electric Vehicle (EV) programme.
