The Pencil Museum (postcode CA12 5NG) in the Northern Lake District town of Keswick, Cumbria says it would like to attract more visits from coach drivers and operators – and that a warm welcome can be assured.
Dawn Walker, Museum Manager told CBW: “We have ample free coach parking. We are also happy to do a meet and greet service for your passengers explaining about the Pencil Museum, its great exhibits and our special discount rates of entry, what’s on in Keswick etc.
“It’s no further from the centre of town than the Booths supermarket car park for your passengers to walk. We’ve got a fabulous coffee shop too. Our menu can be downloaded from our website.
“We look after coach drivers too, with complimentary drinks and snacks to the value of £5. We also offer drivers or tour guides free entry to the museum.”
Open between 0930 and 1700hrs (subject to seasonal variation), the museum itself offers heavily discounted group rates for parties of 10 or more.
