Vintage bus days offer the chance to track the development of buses and coaches through the years and this study, taken at Land’s End during the volunteers’ tour on Easter Monday, shows how certain styling aspects have changed while others have endured. If you look hard enough, there’s also a political commentary to be found. Here we have examples of buses and coaches from historic major group and nationalised fleets, as well as the contemporary franchise model which operates in Cornwall. DAVID SHEPPARD
