First’s RailAir coach service linking regional rail hubs to Heathrow Airport introduced a new stop at Winnersh Triangle on its RA1 route from Sunday 19 January.
The stop is located at the heart of one of the region’s busiest business parks, and adjacent to Winnersh Triangle railway station, and First says it will meet a growing demand for direct airport connectivity from surrounding areas. The new stop offers passengers direct access to Heathrow Airport in under an hour, says First, avoiding the need for additional transfers. Services will call at the new stop up to every 20 minutes, with journeys tailored to accommodate both early-morning flights and late-night arrivals.
Managing Director of First Bus South, which operates RailAir, Simon Goff commented: “We are thrilled to add Winnersh Triangle to our RailAir 1 service. This underscores our commitment to improving connectivity and providing high-quality travel experiences for our passengers. By expanding our network, we aim to support local businesses, reduce road congestion, and offer a convenient, sustainable alternative for airport transfers.”
