Fingers crossed that this rare Bedford YMT will go to an operator. JOE FRASER

A vehicle dealer selling a rare 1979 Bedford YMT coach is hoping the vehicle can go to a heritage operator rather than be converted into a mobile home.

“I bought the vehicle because I didn’t want to see anything happen to it,” said Joe Fraser from Crymmch, in Pembrokeshire. “I was intending to keep it myself, but there are so many other vehicles that I really can’t. I really would like the coach to be used by someone who would operate it on vintage hire or tours. There used to be loads of these Bedfords around, but there aren’t many now.”
