To celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year, First Berkshire has unveiled a bus with a royal makeover. The bus is now operating on the firm’s route 8 which runs past Windsor Castle on its way from Slough to Heathrow Airport.

The newly liveried bus was launched by Mudasar Ali, Operations and Engineering Manager for First Berkshire at its Slough depot. First Berkshire’s marketing team, along with Best Impressions, designed the special livery which was inspired by the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee official logo.

As well as running on route 8, First Berkshire will also use the special Jubilee bus for celebratory events during the rest of Jubilee year. Mudasar Ali said: “We are very proud to run services in the Royal County of Berkshire, including serving Windsor, so marking this unprecedented and very special jubilee is important. Route 8 really is a royal route, so it is fitting to commission this special livery. We’re very excited too about the events we’re planning for the jubilee year too.”
