London-based Redwing Coaches has announced that it has ordered eight new Mercedes-Benz Tourismo coaches for next year.
The vehicles, of a type already favoured by the Herne Hill operator, are expected to enter service in March 2016.
The new vehicles will include four 53-seat, executive tri-axles, two 49-seat ‘super executive’ vehicles and two 53 seat, luxury vehicles.
Joint Managing Directors Paul Hockley and Nigel Taylor said: “This announcement reflects the importance Redwing attaches to ensuring the highest quality standards and reinforces the commitment Redwing has to the coaching industry and to our present and future customers.”
