Regular Radio 1 listeners and those who pay close attention to social media will already have heard of bus enthusiast Reece the Bus Boy, who became a ‘national sensation’ after appearing in a news segment on the BBC radio station earlier this year. Reece, who has over 4,900 followers on his TikTok social media account, was recently invited to Arriva’s Southend depot where he was given the chance to look behind the scenes. “We had a great day, with James our Operations Manager showing him behind the scenes, Steve our driving instructor giving him a driving lesson on the bus and having a one-on-one chat with one of our talented engineers,” said Arriva.
