A Metro-Scania mystery: Here is an intriguing photo. This Metro-Scania Metropolitan was a demonstrator built in December 1973. This was a joint venture between Metro-Cammell Weymann and Scania, which provided the running units. Customers for the bus, built from 1972-78 included London Transport, West Yorkshire PTE and Tyne & Wear PTE. No-one knows the operator the bus was working for when the picture was taken. The Silver Jubilee livery was presumably provided by MCW. NICK LARKIN COLLECTION
