An example of something slightly similar to John’s concept. In the summer of 2018, East Coast Buses ran two daily open top buses from Edinburgh to North Berwick where they performed hourly circular tours of the area before returning to Edinburgh in the evening. Passengers were able to use their tickets on any East Coast Buses service buses if they wished to travel further or return to the city earlier in the day. RICHARD WALTER
