Senior Traffic Commissioner to provide keynote address at UK Bus and Coach Conference

The Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) has confirmed that the Senior Traffic Commissioner, Richard Turfitt, will provide a keynote address on day two of the UK Bus and Coach Conference, Wednesday 13 January.

Richard will refer to some of the work undertaken to support the industry during the pandemic, including the advice and statutory guidance on the approach to regulation during the restrictions. He will provide an insight into the emerging lessons and how those experiences might be used to support essential services going forward.

Other headline speakers including Jane Cole, Professor Iain Docherty, Alex Hornby, and Simon Quin of the High Streets Task Force. Delegates will hear from Transport Minister Baroness Vere during her keynote address on day one.
