Based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Keith’s Coaches has taken delivery of a new Yutong TC9, which arrived with the company on 27 February. The vehicle is the company’s first new purchase since the Covid-19 pandemic, and marks a major milestone for the company with regards to moving forwards, the firm says.
The new vehicle has 37 seats and is wheelchair accessible. It features half-leather seats, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, 240-volt sockets, a PA system and a Bosch multimedia system. The vehicle was purchased direct from Pelican Yutong. “From the initial enquiry through to the collection process, the transaction was smooth and communication excellent; as an existing Pelican client we have always found them to be eff icient and very professional,” the company said. “We have a great after sales package from Pelican Yutong and the ability to supply our customers with quality and comfort.” The operator already has an existing 2018 TC9 in its fleet, but the new coach features a rear roof spoiler and Stay Brite alloy wheels.
