Nottingham City Transport has taken delivery of five new ‘25’ registered buses, Yutong E12s, which have seating capacity for 38 and are destined to enter service on its Navy Line route 48 towards the end of the month. Along with new buses, the route will also see a frequency boost from every 20 minutes to every 15 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes. The buses are the final five from an order of 24 that have entered service during the last year, bringing the operator’s total to 48 examples of the type. “As we approach the first anniversary of operating Yutong electric single-deck buses at Nottingham City Transport, we’re excited to complete the roll out of the second batch. We’ll have 48 in service by the end of the month and it’s quite apt the final ones to enter service will be on our route 48,” the company said. NOTTINGHAM CITY TRANSPORT
