Solaris has signed a contract with Polish operator MPK Kraków for 37 mild-hybrid buses, adding to the fleet of almost 600 Solaris buses already in operation in the city. Deliveries are scheduled for the first half of 2025, and the air-conditioned 12-metre vehicles will replace the oldest vehicles in the municipal fleet.
Solaris buses have been serving the city for more than 20 years, including a large number of zero-emission vehicles, but the mild hybrid buses in the latest order will be the first Solaris vehicles with of this type.
