Managing Director of Stagecoach South West Bob Dennison said: “The themes of Clem and Crab really appeal to us, given that sustainability is a key consideration for Stagecoach, and we have received some great feedback from people regarding our Elmer. We hope that Fiona’s reading at the library will help people get to know the characters that feature in the design a little better.

“A big thank goes out to Fiona for so generously donating her time to visit Plymouth for the afternoon to enthrall and inspire children with her writing.”

Fiona commented: “I can’t wait to come back to Plymouth to read Clem and Crab to local children. The coastline of Devon has always been close to my heart, and for me it is important to spread the message to children that they can make a difference. The ‘Clem and Crab’ Stagecoach Elmer is also located right outside Plymouth Library so people will be able to see the Elmer at the same time.”
