Stagecoach ‘Giving for Good’ donates £25k to air ambulance

Stagecoach has donated £25,000 to Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) as part of its ‘Giving for Good’ community fund, through which it has pledged to donate 0.5% of profits each year to charitable causes across the UK.

Since its service launched in 2013, SCAA has become a vital part of Scotland’s frontline emergency response network, responding to trauma incidents and medical emergencies across the country, covering an area of more than 30,000 square miles and around 100 islands. The charity currently operates two helicopters and two rapid response vehicles which take life-saving care to the scene of time-critical emergencies and transport patients to hospitals all over Scotland to enable them to receive the most appropriate care.
