Stagecoach South is working with local charity Worthing Community Chest, which supports projects and activities in Worthing that enrich the local community by awarding small grants to groups and clubs, events and other good causes around the town.
The year-long partnership will see the bus company donating £2,500 to the organisation, which will use the funding to support seed grants for small groups starting out with their project or event.
Marketing Manager for Stagecoach South Stacey Churton said: “We are thrilled to be able to back Worthing Community Chest in supporting the local groups improve the areas they live and work in. We both share a passion for enriching the local community and this partnership will support ten positive community enrichment events or initiatives.
