Stagecoach East Midlands is introducing a special Open Top Tour Bus service, as well as reducing its fares in support of the Explore North Notts Weekend on 14 and 15 September.
The brand new event, designed to bring families together to enjoy all North Notts has to offer, is being supported by the North Notts Envoys, a proactive group of North Nottinghamshire businesses.
Stagecoach East Midlands will be putting on a special hourly bus service, to support the initiative on both days, departing at 1000hrs from Clumber Park and calling at Sherwood Forest and Rufford Country Park.
Prices for the special service will include £3 adult fare, £1.50 for a child and £6 for a family (two adults and up to three children).
To encourage as many people as possible to enjoy the weekend Stagecoach will also be reducing their Explorer tickets over the two days, people travelling from Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, and Derbyshire will all be able to take advantage of the weekend fares, which also includes travel on the special weekend service.
Special Weekend Explorer Ticket Prices: Adult £5 usual fare £7, Child – £3 usual fare £4.60 and a Family – £8 usual fare £11.50.
The service will bring passengers to the Food & Drink Festival at Clumber Park over the weekend, which includes The School of Artisan Food, with a programme of popular classes for both adults and children.
