Stagecoach is working with BT Group to offer its employees reduced-price tickets to encourage public transport use on its buses across the UK, such as in its home city of Perth. JONATHAN WELCH

Last month, Stagecoach launched its first ever UK-wide corporate ticketing scheme, in partnership with BT Group. The scheme means that all employees who work at BT or EE contact centres across the UK will be able to access to a 10% saving on the operator’s seven-day and 28-day MegaRider tickets.

The offer is valid across all Stagecoach operators who run services in the BT and EE contact centre areas. The scheme makes use of developments within the Stagecoach app, allowing organisations across the UK to partner with it to offer their employees discounted tickets when purchased via the app.

Stagecoach Sales and Marketing Director Harriet Hughes-Payne said: “We are delighted to have launched our first major business to business ticketing scheme with BT Group. It gives us a brilliant opportunity to partner with another large organisation where we can support modal shift from cars to bus, whilst also offering great savings on our tickets for BT Group’s employees. This is also a fantastic opportunity for us to test and learn more about our current B2B offering and assess the possible impact of similar schemes at a national level going forward.”
