The Stagecoach Group has started to roll out its new corporate image nationally, with most operating companies having already painted at least one vehicle in the new dark blue colour, called Steel Blue, reports Steven Knight.

There has been no official launch and repainted vehicles have been released into service without fanfare. Delays in the production of external graphics means that some buses have appeared without fleet names and other graphics. Stagecoach Midlands Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMC 11138 is, however, among those which have received the full package. The ’we’ve got you’ strapline has replaced the previous ’Proud to Serve’ message. CBW understands that the new livery and image will replace the previous ‘local,’ ‘distance’ and ‘specialist’ colour schemes.
