Stagecoach West Scotland says it is pleased to announce a partnership with Ayr Racecourse, making the company the official transport provider of the Coral Scottish Grand National, to be held this year on Saturday 12 April, after a successful trial at the Ayr Gold Cup in September.
As part of the partnership, a new ‘Transport & Entry’ ticket option has been introduced which includes return bus or coach travel along with the entry ticket to the event.
Bus travel will be available from a range of locations across Scotland, including Ardrossan, Kilmarnock, Glasgow, Paisley, Falkirk, Cumbernauld and Stirling.
Managing Director of Stagecoach West Scotland Fiona Doherty said: “We are excited to announce our new partnership with Ayr Racecourse, which will make it easier for people in our communities to get to and from the Scottish Grand National. Together, we have launched ‘Transport & Entry’ ticket options to provide convenient travel. Our selected locations are designed to accommodate as many people as possible, allowing for reliable travel with Stagecoach services throughout the event. We hope everyone has a fantastic day at the races.”
Managing Director of Ayr Racecourse David Brown added: “We are delighted to partner with Stagecoach for the Coral Scottish Grand National, enhancing the experience for our racegoers with convenient transport and entry ticket options.
