An appeal has gone out to operators who might be able to help the Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society save important vehicles by providing storage.

Chairman Steve Milner said there was an acute shortage of space at the museum building owned by the society, which is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee this year.

“Basically we are full,” he said. “A lot of privately-owned buses and cars are owned by people who are now elderly and would love to see the vehicles preserved in a quality museum such as ours. However we are having to turn down offers from people who want to donate very nice vehicles to us as we just have nowhere to put them.” […]
